Tell us a bit about your background and how it helped shape the expertise you bring to CAE.
With a varied background of careers ranging from Landscape Designer to Biotechnology QA to Diversified Farmer, there is no question that my greatest passion is to support and enhance the working landscape of Vermont.

What excites you about your work and/or the work of CAE?
What I’ve only dreamed of doing, CAE is actually doing – helping to build resilient communities that can withstand the ever changing climate while maintaining food security and local community spirit.

What brings you joy? (work or otherwise)
When my daughters were in college I had one request – do at least one summer internship on a working farm. The world was their oyster as far as career paths went, but those internships were the thing that stuck! They have a deep understanding of food and how it gets to the table and that brings me great joy!

What brings you hope? (work or otherwise)
CAE collectively has a vision and a purpose to support the working lands and the communities within by providing the tools for achievement. My hope is that this continues to spread.
